Introduction

The broad aim of the training unit of JEP is to strenghten youth development in South Africa. The Training Unit will do this by solidifying the training experiences that the Unit has developed so far. The Unit will identify particular groups to target for training, but it will also respond to requests for training that will be made.

The work of the training unti will complement the other work of the organisation: the training unit will, together with co-cordinators for youth service, conduct training for the community, as well as collaborate in Advocacy training that the organisation will be involved in.

Geographic Location

The training unit will work nationally with organisations, government departments, non governmental organisations , community based organisations and churches that require services in the area of youth development that is within the capacity of the organisation.
